Remember, a little bit goes a long way! |
As far as packaging goes, I like the Too Faced brand better, UDPP has a wand tip applicator which can gather more bacteria with applications (although I like how the wand gives you the perfect amount of primer per lid, and Shadow Insurance is hard to control with how much comes out). QUICK TIP: If your shadow insurance isn't coming out (and you think it's out), cut the top tab and apply the excess product at the top with a brush.
The formulation between the two are slightly different, UDPP is thicker and heavier than the light Shadow Insurance. Shadow Insurance feels like you dont have it on, unlike UDPP. Some people say that there are creasing issues with Too Faced Shadow Insurance. The first week of trying this out with a single color on the lid, I had a slight problem, but it seemed to just have gone away.
They are the same price, but I feel like you can get a whole lot more product from a squeezable tube than with a long container with a sponge tip.
Overall, I like the Too Faced Shadow Insurance the best out of all there is out there.
