VIVALAREVIEW: MAC Lipstick in Jist

Cute boys crave copper lips.

This review is over MAC Lipstick in Jist. This color is one of my favorites! I love to layer a light peach gloss onto this subtle copper brown tone. If you log onto the MAC website, their picture really doesn't do it any justice. Jist is a light copper brown shimmer with gold flecks that add an extra oomph to your lip color.

As mentioned in my MAC Lipstick in Lustre review below this, I adore MAC Lipsticks. They go on nice and smooth, and come out with a great finshed look. (Wanna read me rave more? Look at my review below!) QUICK TIP: This lipstick is a Frost, so when you apply it you have to be careful not to put on too much. Its best to apply only one or two coats. Frost lipsticks tend make your lips look glazed and light. Personally, I prefer the Lustre lipsticks better because these dont apply as smooth or as creamy.

 As you can tell, I'm almost out! I would recommend this color to darker skin tones for a nice contrast against your skin. Since this color is a neutral, any look could go well with this.

Ready for that pop of red to your lips? 

Today I'll be reviewing a MAC Lipstick in the color Lady Bug

Some girls are afraid to add that perfect, bright, and dazzling red splash of color to their luscious lips. First off, don't be afraid! Every girl needs a punch to their look. Feeling courageous enough? The thing I absolutely love the most about this lipstick is that it glides onto your lips leavening them feeling nourished and hydrated. They have a nice creamy consistency to them which makes them even more enjoyable to wear. This is a Lustre lipstick so when you apply this on your lips, they feel smooth and light. Plus, this lipstick is long lasting on your lips, so there's no need for re-application.

 Red's are a good way to spice up your everyday look. I would recommend this shade for light to medium skin tones. 

QUICK TIP: When using red lipsticks, be precise when you apply it. We want a nice clean look on your lips. Also, avoid lip liner, this contributes to smearing.

MAC makes red lipsticks absolutely fabulous! The small downfall is the price. It's a little bit pricey for a lipstick, but these are worth it (plus you can always Back-to-MAC)!
Oh, and P.S. If your looking at MAC Red, its a much deeper red than Lady Bug.
